New Faculty Orientation 2008
New faculty orientation programs are spread throughout the fall semester in order to introduce you to BSU policies and initiatives at a more manageable pace.  Each of the 90-minute sessions below will be offered twice, and each will be facilitated by an experienced faculty member, along with other experts on that topic.  In order to promote sense of community, we suggest you remain with one time slot throughout the semester so as to build relationships with your new colleagues in that group, but it is certainly acceptable to move back and forth between groups if your schedule requires it.

Along with the Associate Provost, Marilyn Buck, we are encouraging your mentor to accompany you to these sessions as possible and appropriate.  We will be contacting your mentor with this information as well, so if you are interested in attending as a team, you may want to coordinate schedules before submitting the online registration.

Group 1: Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:30 (see dates below)
Group 2: Thursdays, 2:00 - 3:30 (see dates below)

All events will be held in the Arts & Journalism Building's Studio Room (near the northeast exit of the Atrium).  *Please note that the first Wednesday session will be held at the Alumni Center.
