elcome to the Office of Teaching and Learning Advancement (OTLA).  OTLA coordinates professional development activities for faculty members and provides instructional design consultation and pedagogical support for both on-campus and distance education courses.  The office also serves as a liaison between faculty members and various instructional support services on campus, helping individuals and units identify their needs and assembling appropriate support teams to meet those needs.  OTLA serves the university mission for teaching by supporting faculty and programs in developing innovative and effective approaches to teaching through careful consideration of pedagogy and technology.
