NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary) is a branch of NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls) that recognizes student leadership and service for those who live in the residence halls.
NACURH, as an organization, believes that recognition is essential in a strong Residence Hall community. NRHH is designed to recognize student leaders in hopes of enhancing and displaying their leadership qualities.
NRHH chapters recognize their top leaders by means of membership. The NRHH chapter is restricted to 1% of students living in the residence halls. At Ball State, there are around 6,000 students living on campus, 60 of which are NRHH active members. Once inducted into NRHH, you can consider yourself a member of the top 1% of residence hall leaders.
Here at Ball State, the Ruth Peters Chapter of NRHH is based on the principles of the four pillars of NRHH: Recognition, Service, Scholastics, and Leadership. We also emphasize the importance of commitment amongst our members.
