Leadership Committee

What We Do

The leadership committee works to recognize and promote the development of leadership throughout the chapter, residence halls, and campus. To do this, the committee organizes and implements different programs and initiatives including a bi-annual leadership conference, Building Blocks, and a mentor program. Leadership conferences are held every Spring and Fall, and are to designed to bring student leaders in Housing and Residence Life together. These conferences help leaders to attend programs, present ideas, and develop leadership skills. Building Blocks also presents leadership ideas and skills and exists to help leadership councils, such as hall councils, staffs, campus organizations, and executive boards. The Mentor programs places upperclassmen leaders with underclassmen hoping to be involved in Housing and Residence Life, allowing the underclassmen to learn skills and build confidence as leaders.
