Wetlands Characterization Workshop
Workshop cost for credit is 3 credit hours plus special $100 for special fees. No credit cost for the workshop is $750. Wetland Characterization is a five-day workshop course based on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual (1987). Professional Development Workshops
 

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management offers a number of professional workshop courses which are designed to provide specialized training in handling hazardous materials on waste sites and in emergency responses, conducting asbestos building inspections, conducting lead inspections and characterizing wetlands.

These courses are offered annually for students in the university as well as environmental professionals in the region. They are available for academic credit or may be taken as a workshop only. They include:

  • HAZWOPER
  • Building Asbestos Inspector
  • Lead Inspector
  • Wetlands Characterization

Each of these courses provides certification on successful completion.
