Dr. Jarka Popovicova's Vita
Dr. Popovicova teaches courses in water resources, water quality, treatment and management, and wastewater treatment. Her research interests focus on disposal of pharmaceuticals and their effects on water quality, use of tire chips in wastewater treatment and use of zeolites in water treatment. She is also interested in international collaborative projects within her area of expertise. She incorporates knowledge application and active student learning into her classes.
