Course objectives include examining wetland functions and values; understanding wetland hydrology, hydric soils, and hydrophytic vegetation; and learning how to delineate wetland boundaries.

Academic credit is available in NREM 320/520 but is not required.  Workshop cost for credit is 3 credit hours plus special $100 for special fees. No credit cost for the workshop is $750.

The course instructor is Dr. Hugh Brown. The prerequisite is NREM 221 (Soil Resources) or permission of the department chairperson. Please contact Dr. Brown for more information regarding this course.
