Interpretive Displays Going up at Hults Environmental Learning Center

Several new displays have been installed at the Hults Environmental Learning Center to help visitors learn more about the diversity of ecosystems at the Field Station site. Lab/Field Instrumentation Technician Stan Ross and Field Station and Environmental Education Center (FSEEC) Property Manager John Taylor recently put Stan's creations in place.  Stan received help from some NREM students in making and painting the colorful cut-outs of leaves, frogs, butterflies, and Cardinals.  These cut-outs are designed to attract the attention of visitors and represent the indigenous species of the area.

For more information about Hults, visit the Hults website.

Students: FSEEC welcomes volunteers to help with facilities maintenance – a great way to spend time outdoors doing something useful for the extended campus community.  For more information, contact John Taylor by phone at 765-285-2641 or via the FSEEC webpage.
