The mission of the Natural Resources and Environmental Management Department is to enhance environmental quality and sustainability through holistic, multi-disciplinary teaching, scholarship, and outreach. At scales ranging from local to international, we strive to provide our students and the community with a greater understanding of ethical, scientific, and management principles that facilitate stewardship of resources and protection of the environment.
