Doug Jones, Ball State alumnus and star of such movies as "Pan's Labyrinth," "Hellboy," and the university's own "My Name is Jerry," is returning to campus Nov. 19 to give a presentation.

The title of the presentation, which is free and open to the public, is "Identity: the Man Behind the Mask." It will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Emens Auditorium, and there will be ample time for Q&A from the audience.

Jones will talk about his career, how an actor creates characters and makes them believable to the public and his participation in "My Name is Jerry,"which was an immersive learning experience for nearly 50 students.

Jones's visit is being sponsored by the Emens Professorship, the Alice Proctor Killey Fund, and the Bruce F. and Ildiko B. Meyer Honors Memorial Lecture Fund.
