"The first thing we will do in class is to look at what topics the students are passionate about," he said. "Then we'll look at what experts and facilities are available for our use. It's a wonderful opportunity to help students discover how they can create a documentary by accessing what they have right in front of them."
In addition to his assignment in Slovenia, Caristi was a visiting professor in Italy in 2002, 2005 and 2008.
