 Honoring a musician  Ball State trustees hood Grammy Award-winning musician Hilary Hahn during the university's Winter Commencement exercises on Dec. 20, 2008. Hahn was awarded an honory degree from Ball State and recognized for her accomplishments as a featured artist and violin soloist with a number of the world's leading symphony orchestras.
Also awarded an honorary degree was Tong Ki Woo, president of South Korea's Yeungnam University.
