Ball State President Jo Ann M. Gora and several other members of the community will hit the runway during a celebrity style show Oct. 16 that will raise funds to assist people now living in Delaware County after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

"They Shall Rise Again" begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Horizon Convention Center, 401 S. High St. Proceeds will go to the Muncie Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Fund.

Also representing Ball State will be Tim Buckley, men's basketball coach; Alice Cheney, WIPB-TV general manager; Bubba Cunningham, director of intercollegiate athletics; Tracy Roller, women's basketball coach; and Maria Williams-Hawkins, telecommunications professor. 

In addition to the style show, music will be performed by local artists, including Governor Davis and the East Central Indiana Youth Symphony.
