By Layne Cameron, Associate Director of University CommunicationsCampus Chapter has teamed with Muncie-based Blood ‘n’ Fire to renovate an abandoned house—a first for both organizations.
The project, which is expected to last 12 months, is the first home renovation for both organizations.
“The university chapter has been working with new construction
projects for more than 13 years,” Truex said. “In order to expand
students’ opportunities, they decided to join forces with the community ministry in renovating this home.”
Blood ‘n’ Fire, established in 1996, is a Christian organization that sponsors a food pantry, outreach programs and other intervention ministries.
