Computer science internship/scholarship program started (3/16/2000)
MUNCIE, Ind. - An Indianapolis company led by Ball State University graduates has established a computer science internship and scholarship.

BitWise Solutions, led by Ron Brumbarger, '87, and Scott Workman, '85, provides software development services.

Starting this year, the company offers a paid internship for a junior or senior Ball State computer science major. After completion of the summer internship, the student receives a $1,500 scholarship in the fall to complete his or her education.

The recipient must be a full-time student from Indiana with at least a 3.0 grade point average.

The new internship/scholarship program begins immediately. Interested students may pick up applications from the Department of Computer Science in Bell Building 455 or on-line at www.bitwisesolutions.com.

Applications are due to Wayne Zage, RB 441, by April 10, 2000. Incomplete applications are not accepted.
