MUNCIE, Ind. - The authors of a book on Farmland will discuss the community's history Nov. 13 at Ball State University.
By Marc Ransford, Media Relations ManagerGreg Hinshaw and Judy Wilson will discuss "Farmland, Indiana: A Sesquicentennial History, 1852-2002," at 7:30 p.m. in Bracken Library, room 215.
The presentation is part of the Friends of Bracken Library Series. It is free and open to the public.
The book was recently published by the Farmland History Book Committee of Historic Farmland, USA. It contains photos and the history of Farmland.
Hinshaw and Wilson will share some stories gathered in writing the book.
Ball State's Archives and Special Collections have a small exhibit on Farmland in conjunction with the talk. The exhibit is located in a case outside Room 215 in Bracken Library.
