Children can do everything from bringing their pets to a dance and music event to viewing a demonstration of robots made from LEGOS.
All week a flower landscape labyrinth will be set up at the Minnetrista Cultural Center and Oakhurst Gardens. From 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and 25, the maze will be decorated with luminaries and will feature a special program and refreshments.
In addition, local students will participate in some UniverCity events. On Sunday and Thursday, the local White River Youth Choir, which includes 100 area children ages 8 to 19, will perform along with a youth choir from Japan.
Sunday's performance will coincide with Danny Glover's appearance. The concert is free, but reserved tickets must be picked up at the Emens Auditorium Box Office. Seating is limited.
The White River Youth Choir was founded in 1994 by Ball State music professor Don Ester as a way to give children in east central Indiana an opportunity to sing and perform.
