MUNCIE, Ind. - A lecture series at Ball State University next week will focus on issues related to last year's terrorist attacks on the United States.

The dates, speakers and topics for the series, sponsored by the Office of the Provost and history and political science departments, include:
- Sept. 9: Clifford Ong, Indiana Counter-Terrorism coordinator, "Homeland Security."
- Sept. 11: Former U.S. Congressman Andrew Jacobs, Jr., "The 'War' on Terrorism."
- Sept. 16: Robert Hunter, Indiana State University history professor, "The Palestinian Uprisings of 1987 and 2000 Compared with Implications for the Future."
- Sept. 18: Jeffrey Kenney, DePauw University religious studies professor, "The Debate Over Islamic Extremism in Egypt: Lessons for September 11th."
