MUNCIE, Ind. – A Ball State University marketing professor
has received an award for his commitment to the National Association of Purchasing
Management(NAPM).
Bill Moser, an assistant marketing professor and administrative assistant to the
department chair, was honored at the organization's Midwest Summer Workshop in Chicago
with a Presidential Citation. He was one of five members to receive the award.
The organization recognized Moser for his use of student participation at its meetings. Students learned about networking and the value of professional associations. The participating students attended a variety of NAPM affiliate unit meetings in Indianapolis, Lafayette, northeast Indiana, South Bend and Evansville.
Moser received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Ball State. He joined the faculty in 1968, winning the professor of the year award by the College of Business and the Department of Marketing.
