MUNCIE, Ind. -- Investment banker and Turkish native Umit Taftali, a 1985 Ball State University graduate, returns to campus Sept. 27-Oct. 4 to speak with university officials and students about international policy issues.

Taftali, a member of the Ball State men's volleyball team as an undergraduate student, is executive director of Goldman Sachs International's banking business in Turkey. He also serves on the boards of several foundations and the Turkish-American Business Council.

During his visit, Taftali will be the first alumni invited to consult with President John Worthen on global policy issues for the university. He also will address several business classes and participate in faculty seminars.
