MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State University's School of Nursing is seeking input from the public as part of its upcoming reaccreditation visit.
A public meeting is scheduled as part of a site visit Oct. 6-9 by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006, (212) 363-5555 ext. 153.
Federal regulations require that accrediting agencies allow for public comment on the qualifications of institutions or programs under consideration for continuing accreditation.
Interested parties may make comments during a meeting from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in Cooper Science Complex Room CN 111. Comments should address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs in the School of Nursing.
Bachelor's and master's degree programs in the School of Nursing are being reviewed as part of an eight-year voluntary accreditation cycle, according to Phyllis Irvine, director.
