Time for Three to perform at Ball State (2/15/2008)
Time for Three, a nontraditional trio of string musicians, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at Ball State University's Pruis Hall.

Time for Three, a charismatic ensemble known for limitless musical enthusiasm, will play a diverse repertoire, including a mix of bluegrass, country, gypsy and classical music.

"This talented trio is enormously entertaining," said Robert Myers, director of Emens Auditorium and Pruis Hall. "The musicality of this group continues to profoundly impress me."

Time for Three's members, violinists Zachary DePue and Nicolas Kendall and double bassist Ranaan Meyer, came together while enrolled at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Since then, they have performed at the 92nd Street Y in New York, the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater, the Millennium Stage, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and Boston's Gardner Museum.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for youth (18 and under) and students and $15 for Artist Series and Pick 4+ subscribers. All Ball State employees can buy one ticket and get one ticket free. Tickets can be purchased at Emens ticket office at 765-285-1539, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 765-644-3131 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
