
The award is given annually to Teachers College alumni who are active in education and have made significant contributions to teaching, administration, counseling, scholarship or service to the profession.
Yeoman, who received his Ed.D. from Ball State, has served as Tri-Creek's superintendent since 1990. He previously was assistant superintendent for the South Madison School Corp., Pendleton, from 1981-1990; elementary school principal, Munster, 1977-81; and elementary school teacher, M.S.D. of Washington Township, Indianapolis, 1970-76.
He was named Indiana's Superintendent of the Year and Lowell's Man of the Year earlier this year. Yeoman received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Butler University.
