Kevin Ervin, who graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in 1982, was the honoree of Ball State's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma April 14 during a banquet at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the only national scholastic honor society in the field of business and administration recognized by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business. It was founded in 1913 and the Ball State chapter received its charter in 1979.
Ervin, a Fishers resident, is the senior vice president at Huntington Banks in Indianapolis and manager of the Private Financial Group Regional Division. He formerly held positions with Bank One and Arthur Anderson in Indianapolis. A certified public accountant and a certified financial planner, Ervin is a member of the Indiana CPA Society Personal Financial Planning Committee.
Ball State recognized Ervin in 1994 with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. He is also a member of Ball State's Alumni Council and Cardinal Varsity Club.
