Registration is under way for the spring youth and family programs offered by Ball State's Office of Recreation Services.
The programs, which are open to the general public, include:
- Youth Basketball is designed for children of all skill levels. Sessions will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning Jan. 20 at Irving Gym. Cost is $45 for those affiliated with Ball State and $60 for the general public.
- Learn-to-swim classes designed for children ages 6 months to 13 years are scheduled for Thursday nights or Saturday mornings beginning Jan. 20 at Ball Gym pool. Thursday classes will be at 6:30 or 7:20 p.m., and Saturday classes will be at 9:30 or 10:20 a.m. Cost is $45 for those affiliated with the university and $60 for the general public.
- Friday Family Swim is a free informal program that is open to the public. Family swim times are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fridays from Jan. 19 through May 4 at Ball Gym pool. Participants must preregister.
Registration forms for all programs will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays at the Office of Recreation Services in Irving Gym, room 201. Registration forms can be found online at http://recreation.iweb.bsu.edu/BSUrec/YouthFamily/LTSregistration.htm.
