The Sung-Jae and Gemma Park International Fund will assist the department in international travel for students and faculty members, receptions and local accommodations for international visitors.

Sung-Jae Park is a professor emeritus of sport and physical education and director emeritus of the Far East Asia Program. He has taught and held numerous positions at Ball State during his 36-year career.

He received his master's degree from Ball State, doctorate from Ohio State University and bachelor's degrees from Yeungnam University and Yongin University.
