The Ball State planetarium presents Ring World, a 2 billion-mile odyssey to Saturn and its satellites. Learn about the Cassini spacecraft, its orbit around Saturn, its mission and the stunning images it is sending to Earth.
The 40-minute program, narrated by Star Trek's John Billingsley, is showing at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13, 14, 20 and 21 and Nov. 3-4.
Tickets are not required, but seating is limited. The program starts at 7:30 p.m., and doors open 20 minutes before show time.
Weather permitting, the observatory will be open after the presentation. Dress accordingly, as the observatory is not heated.
The program is best suited for adults and children over 8 years old. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The planetarium is located in the southeast corner of the lower level of Cooper Science Complex, room CP90. Parking is available on the west end of the Cooper building and along Riverside Avenue.
