SmallerA $126,000 estate gift will create an endowed scholarship fund to honor a Ball State University graduate and her husband.
By Marc Ransford, Media Relations ManagerThe Harold and Isabella Legg Memorial Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students from Howard County majoring in a business field.
Isabella Legg, who died in 2003 in Muncie at age 97, graduated from Ball State in 1931 with a bachelor's degree and in 1947 with a master's degree. Her husband died in 1995 at age 91. The couple lived in Kokomo for many years.
