The party theme, "Celebrating with Fish and Feathery Friends and Family Day," is associated with the current "Creatures of the Sea and Sky" exhibition on display at the museum and will offer an afternoon of engaging fish- and bird-themed activities for children, teenagers and adults.
Museum guests can participate in scavenger hunts, make bird- and fish-themed art projects and view a screening of the G-rated documentary "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill," among other activities.
Family Day activities, as well as admission to the museum, are free and open to the public.
The museum is located on the Ball State campus at 2021 W. Riverside Ave. Parking is available in the McKinley Avenue Parking Structure. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
