Sixteen to 18 students, faculty and staff members will be selected to travel to the Far East for field study.
The delegation will visit and stay at eight academic institutions as well as with host families.
Students must be full-time, sophomores or above, in good standing, interested in Asian culture and returning to Ball State the following academic year.
Fees for the trip are $2,800, including international airfares and administrative fees.
Applications are due by Jan. 18.
Far East Asia programs were established 30 years ago to promote study tours and faculty, professorial, and student exchange with sister universities in China, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
