Three call-in shows this week address terrorism (9/19/2001)
"Talk of Indiana" on Indiana Public Radio offers three one-hour call-in shows this week to address three particular aspects arising from last week's terrorist attacks on the United States.

Listeners may participate by calling 1-800-646-1812.

  • At 3 p.m. Wednesday John Stachula, a counselor at the Ball State University Counseling Center, and Bryce Taylor, a local child psychologist, will join host Bob Papper, IPR's news director, to talk about how to discuss terrorism with our children.
  • At 3 p.m. Thursday, Bill Gosnell, director of the Delaware County EMA, and Bob Bricker, coordinator of the Madison County Red Cross, will join IPR's Marcus Jackman for an hour-long discussion of emergency services and preparedness.
  • At 3 p.m. Friday the history of terrorism is the topic to be discussed as Ball State's Steve Bell, a professor of telecommunications, and history professor Kevin Smith, join IPR's Stan Sollars for the week's third edition of Talk of Indiana.
