The SHRM Learning System Course provides participants with an overview of key areas in human resource management, and human resource professionals will be able to earn credits toward PHR/SPHR recertification or university credit.
The program is divided into six modules: strategic management; workforce planning and employment; human resource development; compensation and benefits; employee and labor relations; and occupational health, safety and security. In addition, participants will receive SHRM Learning System Course workbooks, Learning Software CD-ROMs, PowerPoint slides and access to the SHRM Learning System Web site.
Courses will be taught by Jeffrey Hornsby, professor of marketing and management at Ball State. Hornsby is certified by SHRM as a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management.

Fishers, Ind.: 6-9 p.m., Feb. 27; March 13, 27; April 10, 17, 24; and May 1 at the Outreach Services Site, 10204 Lantern Rd.
Muncie, Ind.: 3-6 p.m., March 1, 15, 29; April 12, 19, 26; and May 3 at Ball State's Carmichael Hall, room 110 - Completely online with study groups and instructor facilitation, available from Feb. 27 to May 3
