MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State University telecommunications students will
get some hands-on experience this fall working at two broadcasts of Monday
Night Football.
Saturday, Sept. 23, telecommunications professor Tim Pollard and
telecommunications instructor Rich Swingley will take nine Ball State
students to Indianapolis to begin preparations for the Colt’s appearance
on Monday Night Football. The Colts face the Jacksonville Jaguars and
kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
During the broadcast the students will assist the ABC network crew wherever they are needed. The students are being chosen from a field of 50 who applied to help.
Pollard and Swingley will also take students to help with the Colt’s Dec. 11 Monday Night Football game against the Buffalo Bills.
