Fans attending the Ball State women's basketball home opener against Evansville Nov. 22 in Worthen Arena are being given the opportunity to aid Evansville's recent tornado victims.

Ball State student radio station WCRD sports staff, including cohost of WCRD's "The Ball State Sports Hour of Power" Shane Wilkinson, will be at Gate One to collect items.

The drive, sponsored by Ball State Athletics and WCRD, will accept donations of nonperishable foods, clothing, cleaning supplies and other items.

Anyone who donates any item, regardless of size or amount, will receive free admission to the game.

Items collected will be delivered to the American Red Cross in Evansville and distributed to families in need in the Evansville area.
