A Wapahani High School business educator was recently honored by the Miller College of Business at Ball State University.
Brian Dudley, a business teacher and baseball coach at Wapahani High School, recently received the Outstanding Alumni Award in Business and Marketing Education from the Miller College of Business. Dudley, a Muncie resident, is the 20th Ball State graduate to receive the award since its inception in 1986.

Dudley, who received his bachelor's degree from Ball State in 1980 and a master's degree in 1995, teaches business and serves as the head of the school's business education department. He also serves as a mentor teacher for Ball State undergraduate students in their field and student teaching experiences.
As the school's baseball coach, he has received numerous national and state baseball coaching awards and has served as president of the Indiana Baseball Coaches Association. Dudley was named the Ball State alumni baseball coach for the 2005 season.
