United Way Pathfinders named; 45 percent of goal achieved (9/25/2000)
MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State's United Way campaign announces the following new Pathfinders for 2000-2001 (listed in order of receipt of contribution):

Robert and Linda Yadon, Dave and Marcia Gobble, John and Lezli Fitzgerald, Don and Deborah Kuratko, Paul and Nancy Parkison, Steve and Mary Avila, Jay and Phyllis Zimmerman, Robert and Heather Shupp, Patsy Donn, Thad and Diana Godish, Harry Macy, Blaine and Mardi Brownell, Tom and Pam Smith.

The following have renewed their commitment to the United Way at the Pathfinder level: Joy and Warren Vander Hill, Carl and Sarah Warnes, Deborah and Douglas Balogh, James and Sondra McElhinney, Ramon and Terry Avila, Don and Lorna Van Meter, Ruth and Robert Howes, Dennis and Carolee Kramer, Neil and Catherine Palomba, Janice and Gayle Replogle, Jim and Linda Needham, Patty Hughes, Don and Sue Whitaker, Eric and Sandra Kelly, Beverley and Bill Pitts, Van and Jackie Nelson, Roy and Marilyn Weaver, Hudson and Karen Akin, Joan and Dick McKee, Hal and Judith Roepke, Ned and Gloria Griner, Ross and Harlene Van Ness.

Deborah Balogh, Ball State's 2000 co-chair, remarked, "I am thrilled to see this increase in leadership gifts. Ball State Pathfinders have sent a clear message that we intend to reach our $200,000 goal! It is very gratifying to see the campus respond so generously to this effort."

The campaign is at $87,775, 43 percent of Ball State's goal.
