The threats of drones, zombies, worms and Trojan horses aren't just limited to the movies, but they are everyday security problems that high school students and teachers can avoid by attending one-day workshops at Ball State University.
The sessions for high school juniors and seniors and their teachers will provide information about common security breaches and provide hands-on experience preventing the most dangerous and prevalent attacks to computer systems today.
Sessions are from 4 to 6 p.m. daily May 11-13 and are sponsored by the Miller College of Business. Each person completing a workshop will receive a certificate.
Registeration can be completed online. Cost is free for the first 30 registrants.
