For the first time LunaFest, a national festival of films by, for and about women, will be part of Women's Week March 28 through April 2 at Ball State University.
LunaFest features a series of short movies with the event beginning at 6:30 p.m. March 30 in Pruis Hall. A $5 admission fee will be donated to the Breast Cancer Fund.
By Marc Ransford, Media Relations ManagerWomen's Week, organized by Ball State's Women's Studies Program, provides a forum for learning and teaching about women's lives and the way society defines gender roles. With the exception of LunaFest, events are free and open to the public.
This year marks the 18th anniversary of on-campus programming during National Women's History Month and the 32nd anniversary of the first women's studies course at Ball State.
