MUNCIE, Ind. - A gift from William and Carolyn Carter of Indianapolis
acknowledges the contributions of Paul Parkison, Ball State University
accounting professor.
The William A. And Carolyn A. Carter Accounting Scholarship in honor of Paul
W. Parkison will contribute $100,000 to endow the fund over the next five years.
When fully funded, the scholarship will be used to recruit and retain high ability graduate and undergraduate accounting students.
The recent scholarship adds to the Paul W. Parkison Scholarship Fund which honors Parkison for his outstanding contributions to Ball State students.
“The outpouring of participation by our accounting alumni to this fund and their challenge to their fellow alumni friends and colleagues is inspiring,” said Hudson Akin, executive director of university development.
Carter received a bachelor’s degree from Ball State in 1954.
