Ninety-six staff employees will be honored during Ball State University's 40th annual Staff Recognition and Retirement Award Program April 21.

Doors of the L.A. Pittenger Student Center Cardinal Hall will open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30. 

University staff employees will be recognized for retirement and years of service in five-year increments starting at 10 years. The ceremonies also include presentation of the A. Jane Morton Award and five Meritorious Service Awards.

Invitations to honorees will be mailed March 1. Years of service honorees, retirees and A. Jane Morton nominees' complementary tickets will be available in the office of WorkLife Programs, University Human Resource Services, Administration Building, room 350, from March 7 through 3 p.m. March 17.

The $13 tickets will go on sale at the Bursar's Office March 18 through 3 p.m. April 1. 

Reservations are required and will be accepted only between March 7 and April 1. This year guests can specify a chicken, pork or vegetarian entrée when making reservations. Anyone with a medical dietary need (diabetes, food allergies, etc.) may call Marta Stephens at 5-1187.
