Ball State faculty and staff and small business representatives may attend a workshop Feb. 9-10 that will provide training on creating business proposals and commercialization plans.
The workshop is intended for researchers and small businesses with an interest in innovative research funding. Training will prepare people interested in developing competitive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) proposals.
By mastering these proposals, university researchers and small technology businesses may apply for grants of up to $850,000 for early-stage seed money.
The workshop is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 9 and 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 10 at the Innovation Connector,
