The acquisition of a publicly-traded Indiana technology firm will be discussed Feb. 8 during a videoconference at the TechPoint Tech Tuesday meeting.

Tom Millay, vice president of sales and marketing for Made2Manage, an Indianapolis-based developer of enterprise business systems for midsize manufacturers, will discuss his firm's acquisition by Massachusetts' Battery Ventures.

Millay will discuss the history and background of the company, the acquisition and the firm's future. His presentation, free and open to the public, begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Horizon Convention Center, 401 S. High St.

Tech Tuesday programs allow local IT professionals, educators, entrepreneurs and business leaders to discuss or learn about technology-related issues.
