Area businesses, government agencies and nonprofit organizations are invited to attend an information session on Ball State University's Business Fellows program either Jan. 26 or 27.

The innovative program turns "Academic Knowledge into Business Solutions" by placing Ball State faculty and student expertise into action to benefit Indiana organizations and communities across the state. 

Funded by Lilly Endowment Inc., the program seeks to engage students in a problem-based project and assists the partner organization in improving services, increasing business, developing new job opportunities, improving quality or improving competitiveness.

Current Business Fellows projects, which involve various business and community partners in a wide variety of sectors, can be reviewed at www.bsu.edu/careers/fellows.

Each session will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center, Cardinal Hall. Refreshments will be served.
