Ball State University's H.H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling career fair is scheduled for Jan. 31 at the Alumni Center, 2800 W. Bethel Ave. Students looking for full-time employment and summer internships may attend the program from 5 to 7 p.m. Participants should wear professional attire and bring resumes.

Students may interview for openings in sales and management. Starting salaries range from $25,000 to $62,000, excluding commissions and bonuses.

"This is a terrific opportunity for college students to meet with representatives of many of the nation's top firms," said Ramon Avila, the center's director. "We are anticipating an increase in the number of entry-level opportunities in professional selling and management training for soon-to-be college graduates."

With 44 companies registered, the sales job fair is the largest of its kind in the country, he said.
