Dear Student,

You have requested temporary housing based upon the weather situation.  We are providing space to off-campus students in university residence halls as space permits.

After confirming you are a Ball State University student, you will be assigned to a space in one of the halls and asked to go there for further assistance.

You will be provided a bed and use of the shower/restroom facilities.  There are also computer labs available.  You will need to bring your own bed linens/sleeping bag, pillow and toiletries. 

The Housing and Residence Life Office is trying to quickly make arrangements to house as many off-campus students as possible.  Please remember that the university has been without power for three days prior to today, so staff has been unable to get things in the kind of condition we would have preferred.

We are happy to assist you in this weather situation.  Please be patient with us as we try to make the best out of this it.  We also ask that you be considerate of the permanent residents of the building, and that you follow all residence hall policies. These are available on our Web site.  No pets, alcohol, weapons, candles or contraband are permitted. Any disruptive behavior or violations of policy will result in you being asked to leave immediately and make other arrangements for the night.

I understand these expectations and agree to abide by them.  I will move back to my off-campus address as soon as power is restored to it.
