MUNCIE, Ind. – Four students recently received prizes as a result of the Web survey conducted by Ball State University's Housing/Residence Life and Residence Halls Dining Service.

The students, Kendra Becher, Craig Shearer, Matt Billman and John Scott, were chosen at random to receive the prizes.

Becher won the DVD/CD player and is a senior from Mt. Vernon. Shearer received the MP3 player and is a freshman from Kokomo. Billman and Scott each won $100 and are freshmen. Billman is from Speedway and Scott is from Indianapolis.

The Web survey was a way for the two offices to gather information from students to use to plan future changes to the residence halls and dining service locations.

"Our service is for the students, and it is necessary that we know what the needs of the students are," said Alan Hargrave, director of Housing and Residence Life. "We also thank all students who participated in the survey."
