Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for "CMT On Tour: Keith Urban Be Here '04" at Emens Auditorium.

The Oct. 8 concert marks Urban's first appearance in Muncie as a headline act, not surprising as he's been electrifying audiences across the country since his debut release in 1999. He's sold millions of albums, had four No.1 singles and 8 Top 5 hits.

"CMT On Tour: Keith Urban Be Here '04" will highlight all of the hits from Urban's career including the songs that made him Billboard Magazine's most played artist for 2003 ("Somebody Like You," "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" and "Raining On Sunday") as well as his third No. 1 track from Golden Road, "You'll Think Of Me."

In addition, Urban will perform his first No.1 hit, "But For The Grace of God," as well as his latest release "Days Go By" from his highly anticipated forthcoming Capitol Records release, "Be Here," which hits stores Sept. 21.

Universal South newcomer, powerhouse singer-songwriter Katrina Elam, will open for Urban. Her self-titled debut album will be released Oct. 5. Elam's first single, "No End In Sight," was recently released and has already made its way into the Top 40.

Ticket information, tour schedule and news will be available at www.CMT.com and at www.keithurban.net. "CMT On Tour: Keith Urban Be Here '04" is presented by Gain, sponsored by Sleep Inn.

Tickets can be purchased at the Emens Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at (765) 644-3131 or online at www.ticketmaster.com
