MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State University Board of Trustees has approved tenure and faculty promotions for 2001-2002.

Sixteen faculty were promoted from associate professor to professor, 18 were promoted from assistant professor to associate professor and 23 were granted tenure.

Marchant, educational psychology; John M. McGrew, computer science; Paul C. Reilly, music; Robin S. Rice-Snow, geology; James C. Stroud, elementary education; David E. Sumner, journalism; Melissa A.
