
Seven Ball State faculty members were honored for outstanding achievements at the fall faculty meeting Friday morning. Receiving awards from Provost Beverley Pitts (far left) and President Jo Ann M. Seven faculty members were honored for outstanding contributions to the university at the fall faculty meeting Friday.
They are:
- Cheryll M. Adams, director of the Center for Gifted Studies and Talent Development, Outstanding Administrative Service Award
- Jerrell C. Cassady, associate professor of psychology-educational psychology, Outstanding Junior Faculty Award
- Tracy L. Cross, executive director of the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities; professor of psychology-educational psychology; and George and Frances Ball Distinguished Professor of Gifted Studies, Outstanding Research Award
- Pamela Harwood, associate professor of architecture, Outstanding Creative Endeavor Award
- Jeffrey S. Hornsby, George and Frances Ball Distinguished Professor of Management, Outstanding Faculty Award
- Kevin E. Smith, associate professor of history, Outstanding Faculty Service
- Taiping Ho, associate professor of criminal justice and criminology, Outstanding Faculty Academic Advisor and Outstanding Teaching Award
The outstanding educators, selected by their peers, receive a cash award from the Ball State University Foundation as well as a plaque provided by the Alumni Association.
