MUNCIE, Ind. – Ball State University is looking for people to help international college students adjust to life in the United States.
To help with the transition, the university's Center for International Programs has created the Friendship Family program.
The program is seeking area families to befriend a foreign student, couple or family from one of 75 nations. International students or research scholars usually range in age from 18 to 45. Students will begin arriving Aug. 14.
There is no financial support or financial reimbursement to participating families.
